TED Talks - Explaining the Qur'an

Lesley Hazleton, an agnostic Jew gives this very well understood presentation on TED about the Qur'an as an outsider to the fold of Islam.

She highlights sensitive areas of misconception such as the alleged 'killing of non believers' and the idea of the '72 virgins in heaven'.

I found this fascinating to listen to as a Muslim, the extent to which non Muslims understand and misunderstand the Qur'an.

Lesley Hazleton blogs here as the Accidental Theologist.

Have a great week and a very fruitful year ahead!
